The Municipal Corporation has an air-conditioned
Town Hall, which can accommodate 1000 people.
Various cultural programmes, dramas, conferences,
workshops, educational programmes, religious
lectures etc. can be organised here by paying
prevailing charges. The town hall can be booked
after filling up a prescribed form and by making
a payment from 11:00 a.m. on all working days.
The charges of the town hall depend on the shift
time and the motive of the programme to be held.

Charges for organising lectures,
conference etc. by various organisations in the
first & second shift are Rs.6000/-
- Service tax @ 8% is collected on total income.
- An additional amount of Rs.1000/- is charged
for every half an hour or part thereof after 00:30
hrs.
- An amount of Rs.10,000/- as deposit is to be
paid before commencing a show.
- When used for the political, educational and
social functions, the amount of deposit to be
paid is Rs.5000/-.
- Entertainment license & programme permission
from the police dept. is required before commencing
the show. |
