Information regarding work undertaken by the
dept.
1. T.P. Scheme Execution
:-
The department executes govt.
approved T.P. Schemes. Accordingly –
You have to pay the incremental
contribution for proper execution of T.P. schemes.
The department recovers the amount of incremental
charges as decided by the govt. award. If you
fail to pay the amount, simple interest @ 18%
is charged. In this respect, people are informed
through a demand notice. An advertisement is
also published in the newspaper once in a year.
You can pay the incremental contribution in
the office of Land & Estate officer (T.P.),
between 11.00 am to 2.00 pm on any working day.
2. Transfer of Possession
: -
- Having received the approved T.P. Scheme,
the concerned landowners are issued a notice
u/s 67 in accordance with their respective
survey Nos., O.P. Nos. & Final Plot Nos.
The surveyor on the site then informs the
concerned landowners about the stone boundary
indications. They are also informed to free
the part of the original plot of land, which
is to be spared. The L & E Officer (T.P.)
is entitled to issue such a notice.
- A notice u/s 68 is issued 15 after the
day of issuing a notice u/s 67. According
original owner of the land is informed to
take over the possession of the final plot
after having spared the decided part of the
land. A rough sketch is also drawn on the
reverse of the notice.
- If the original owner doesn’t agree
with such a transfer of possession, he is
issued a summary acquisition notice.
- If the original land owner, even after
is issuing a summery acquisition notice, doesn’t
agree to transfer the possession and asks
for a building Permission on the plot question,
he is issued such a permission only after
completing the process of transfer of possession.
- If you are original landowner or a holder
of Power of Attorney appointed by original
landowner, you have to furnish the following
documents for getting a receipt of possession.
- A latest of copy of 7/12 of the original
Survey No.
- All copies of 8/A.
- All copies of 6
- A receipt of incremental contribution.
- In case of power of attorney, a true
copy of the power of attorney.
- On receiving the above record, the surveyor
pays visit to the site and if the required
land is spared, he asks the owner or the holder
of the Power of Attorney to sign the required
form. A receipt of transfer of possession
is their issued by the L & E Officer (Tech.)
- The above procedure takes a weeklong time,
but if there is encroachment on the land in
question, the receipt of transfer of possession
is issued only after removal of such encroachment
by the owner or applicant.

| 3. Conformation of Ownership : -
On receiving inquiry from the
ward office regarding confirmation of land ownership,
a confirmation note is issued after due scrutiny
of various documents provided by city survey
office or office of Talati and if required a
site visit is also paid. The work needs a period
of 3-4 days but in certain special cases, such
a note can be issued within a day’s time.
4. Demarcation of Plots
& Roads : -
On the occasion of handing over of possession
or otherwise, if required, the surveyor does
the work of demarcation of boundary line on
the site. The surveyors are also involved in
the process of measurement of plots sold occasionally
by the commercial branch of L & E Dept.
On receiving information from
various departments such as roads, Street Lights,
Drainage etc, the surveyor undertakes the demarcation
work.
5. Site Plan : -
If you require site plan, then
you have to apply on a plain paper. On receiving
application from the applicant, maps of Tikka
Sheet showing approved road lines are issued
against payment of required fees. In case, where
road lines are not approved, Suggestions are
asked for from the Traff Branch and maps are
they issued. The department also issues maps
to various other depts. As and when required.
The branch works under L &
E Officer (Tech.) and has a staff of a draftsman
and three tracers. Such maps are issued within
a period of 3 to 4 days. |
